Skype Interview Part 1:

Before I moved West, my wife and I served with Muskoka Bible Centre in Huntsville, ON. At that time, the facility functioned under its original name, Muskoka Baptist Conference.

While there, I had the honour of serving alongside a counsellor, Andy Lundy within their Summit College program. It was a time of great enjoyment and learning for both, Andy and I.

Time has past and though Andy and I have went our separate ways, we’ve kept in touch and remained friends. He has had continued success within his counselling field, eventually opening his own practice, Juniper Tree. His heart for people is evident and displayed on his page at Juniper Tree with the following quote:

I have great respect for people who take a step back to see the big picture through counselling – to examine the choices they have made (forced or otherwise) and explore the impact which this has had on who they are now, and on who they are becoming.” (Andrew W. Lundy – MA)

Today, I’d like to share Part 1 of a Skype interview that I had last week with Andy. In the following interview, not only will you gain some great information about his practice, we’ll explore his specialised field of care, sexual addiction.

Obviously, sexual addiction takes on many forms and has destroyed many relationships. Andy helps us understand how this addiction begins and gets rooted, then explains how true recovery can be attained. If you or someone you know is struggling in this area, I highly suggest you grab a coffee, a notepad and pen. You’re about to gain some valuable information.
