HOW WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE HOPE AND A FUTURE

Jeremiah 29:11

This verse has been the favourite verse for many people throughout history, and for good reason.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jer. 29:11)

Though our lives are full of trial and adventure, God is faithful in this promise.

So, we trust in His plans for us.

Maybe you’re facing an option that doesn’t seem to fit within your preconceived plans. Perhaps, a decision or choice has come out of nowhere and taken you by surprise. Maybe you’re feeling God’s call in a totally different direction than the way you’ve been travelling.

Never the less, remember that God has plans to give you hope and a future.

Insecurity

Sure, it might mean that areas of sin and insecurity will be brought to the forefront of your mind and possibly even exposed.

It might also mean that the comfortable areas of your life will be taken from you.

The Journey

Lastly, it might bring you on an unforeseen journey to a place that you never envisioned being. In all honesty, you can probably count on all of this taking place.

But it’s okay, trust that He has plans to give you hope and a future.
