This morning I’ve been working hard on this Sunday’s message from Psalm 130.
Now, I really should be focusing my time and effort on preparing, not posting a blog entry. However, I really wanted to pull out a quick post. My mind has wandered to a Christian ska band that I used to listen to when I was in Youth Group.
Five Iron Frenzy produced nine albums and performed over a thousand shows during their time in the spot-light. There was actually a movie produced about their rise and fall to and from fave and following. Recently, reunion news has begin to surface. Here’s the movie trailer for “The Rise and Fall of Five Iron Frenzy“.
This morning as I was preparing my message, all of a sudden, Five Iron Frenzy’s “The Flowery Song” went through my head. In particular, the following lyrics: “Beautiful day, wonderful feeling, this reason to sing, psalms meaning songs singing praises all day long.” So, I thought I’d post the song. Here’s the music video for Five Iron Frenzy’s “A Flowery Song“.
Now you can all get a glimpse of what’s been going through my mind this morning!
What song goes through your mind, when you think of the Psalms?
