HOW TO TRULY BELIEVE THAT GOD IS FOR US AND NOT AGAINST US

Facing defeat:

How often do we wallow in self-pity, instead of bringing our fears immediately to the Lord?

We all through times of struggle. When we do, it’s like our faith and logic disappear. All of a sudden, we neglect Biblical truths such as “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Rom. 8:31b), and “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.” (Phil.4:13).

Why do we find it so hard to immediately turn to the Lord in prayer? Typically, we’ll speak with friends and family about our struggles, far before lay them before our Heavenly Father.
