WHY THE BOOK OF ACTS IS WORTH READING OFTEN

When’s the last time you read Acts?

If your answer is “Quite recently!” then you’ll understand why I believe it should be a frequent read for all Believers.

The book of Acts is the account of amazing Holy Spirit driven events, that occurred after Christ’s ascension. God’s design throughout the days of Acts was to increase Believers and grow the church.

All of which, in a supernatural way that would get the job done in a short amount of time.

All this considered, through the book, there are some dedicated followers who risk everything to see God’s purposes achieved. These people are key to why we should read this book often.

Unlike the Epistles, Acts is written with a real-time feel. As the accounts unfold, it’s almost impossible to resist getting pulled into the lives of these early Believers. All of a sudden, we start to ask ourselves some tough questions:

Could I do that? Would I do that? What if I were that confident? What if I were that dedicated?

Before you know it, you’re feeling impassioned and empowered! You may not see the extent of miraculous events, but you will definitely see the hand of God move!
