Stop Going to Church is Now Available on Kindle
Official Book Launch
After years of prayer, wrestling, and real-life ministry experience, and a project being on the back-burner for far too long, it’s finally here. Stop Going to Church: Start Being the Church is now live on Amazon Kindle.
This short book was born out of a burden I’ve carried for a long time. I’ve been watching local churches slowly drift from Jesus’ original intent. Too often, we’ve replaced mission with maintenance. We’ve turned the ekklesia into an event, or worse, an obligation.
This book isn’t a critique. It’s a call to return.
What It’s About
Church isn’t a place. It’s a people. But somewhere along the way, we’ve settled for “church” as a building or a weekend service. In Stop Going to Church, I explore how we got here, why it matters, and what we can do about it.
Drawing from Scripture, honest ministry stories, and some tough leadership lessons, this book walks through six core values that can renew your church’s purpose and culture:
- Christ-Centredness: Keeping Jesus at the heart of everything.
- Authenticity: Creating space for real people with real struggles.
- Vibrancy: Choosing joy, even in hardship.
- Humility: Leading with a towel, not a title.
- Worthiness: Seeing the image of God in everyone.
- Outward-Focus: Moving from comfort to mission.
This is for pastors, planters, leaders, and anyone who wants to see the Church come alive again.
What’s Next
Right now, the book is available as a Kindle eBook only. After a 90-day window, if it’s trending well, I’ll prayerfully move forward with a paperback and additional eBook formats.
In the meantime…
- If you’ve ever wrestled with what it means to be the Church — this book is for you.
- If you’ve longed for something deeper than Sunday morning — this book is for you.
- If you’re ready to go from attending to advancing the Gospel — this book is for you.
Thank You
To everyone who’s encouraged, prayed, edited, and supported this project: thank you. Your belief in this message means more than you know.
Let’s stop going to church. Let’s start being the Church.
