Finding Clarity in Leadership and Life

Leadership is harder than anyone told you it would be.

The pressure. The loneliness. The gap between the leader you want to be and the one you see in the mirror. Whether you lead a church, a team, a business, or a family, that tension is real. And most leadership content skims right past it with bullet points and borrowed confidence.

You don’t need more hype. You need something that actually holds.

LeadBiblically.com exists for leaders who want to lead from the inside out, grounded in Scripture, honest about the struggle, and built for the long haul. Real formation over quick fixes. Biblical conviction over leadership hacks.

My name’s Jeremy.

I’m a lead pastor and leadership mentor based in the Yukon, Canada. Everything I write and teach here comes from real experience: decades of leading people through hard seasons, navigating church and organizational challenges, mentoring leaders who were ready to quit, and doing my own slow work of letting Scripture shape me from the inside out.

I’ve sat with leaders who felt disqualified. I’ve been that leader. And I’ve seen what happens when men and women stop trying to perform their way through leadership and start leading from a place of genuine biblical conviction.

That’s what this site is about.

I share new content every week, rooted in Scripture and real-life leadership experience. Most posts include biblical references to support the principles discussed. I draw from my own journey: the successes, the failures, and the lessons God has taught me along the way. If you’re seeking to grow as a leader without losing your soul in the process, you’ll find something valuable here.

Your story isn’t over. And your best leadership may still be ahead.

About Me

I live in Whitehorse, Canada, where I serve as Lead Pastor with Mountainview Church. I also work with leaders and organizations as a consultant, speaker, and mentor. I’m a published author with Ambassador International, and most of what I’ve learned about leadership, I’ve learned the hard way.

My path hasn’t been straight. I’ve worked in both business and ministry, and God has used both to shape how I lead and how I help others lead. My mission is simple: help people and churches embrace their calling and move forward with purpose.

When I’m not writing or preaching, I’m outdoors. I live a subsistence lifestyle in the Yukon, hunting, fishing, and making sure nothing from the harvest goes to waste. That rhythm shapes how I think about leadership too: patient, purposeful, and built for the long haul.

If you lead a small church or ministry and feel like you’re figuring it out alone, you don’t have to. I offer affordable consulting, workshops, and speaking to help your team move forward.

Beyond Ministry

When I’m not writing, preaching, or leading, you’ll probably find me outdoors. I live a subsistence lifestyle; hunting, fishing, and making sure every part of the harvest is used. (Yes, even bear meat!)

Living in the Yukon means embracing the adventure that comes with the territory…literally! I’ve got a soft spot for a good road trip and a campfire conversation. It’s a different kind of life up here, and I wouldn’t trade it.

Admittedly, although I love the wilderness, I’m not opposed to tech. I’m a big fan of podcasts, audiobooks, and all things Apple. I enjoy video editing now and then, mostly for family projects and social media. While I’m no musician, I can strum a few chords and sing when the mood strikes. Most of the time, I enjoy acoustic genres, but I also have a secret love for punk rock from my teen years.

Lastly, through it all, coffee is always within arm’s reach, whether it’s a handcrafted latte or a gas station cup of joe.

My Greatest Calling

I believe biblical leadership starts at home. My wife, Nicole, and our three boys—Jude, Luke, and Mark—are my greatest ministry. We love spending time outdoors together, hiking, camping, and exploring God’s creation.

We also capture and share some of our Yukon and Alaskan adventures on The Yukon Boys YouTube channel! It’s a fun way to document our experiences and invite others into our outdoor lifestyle. If you enjoy fishing, hunting, and life in the North, check it out.

At the same time, we value rest. Some of our best moments happen when we’re curled up on the couch for a family movie night, popcorn in hand. Life is full, but we strive to keep our priorities in order.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15, ESV)
