Most children love being outside, embracing nature with wonder. As adults, we can learn to rekindle that joy.
We all have those reflective times when we think back on past life experiences and events. We often consider the people who have shaped those experiences and events as we think back. How often do we pray for those people? How often do we pray for those people when we ‘remember’ them? How different would our lives be, if we consistently brought them to Lord in prayer whenever we remembered them?
As an extrovert, I have to really try to “be quick to listen, slow to speak”. (James 1:19-21) Perhaps you’re an extrovert as well, and can relate? We spend so much time giving our opinions or telling some story that we think people need to hear. We often miss so many important pieces of information from the people we’re interacting with. The struggle is real!
We don’t need a crisis to hear God clearly. He invites us to listen while life feels steady and secure.
When we judge others, we miss God’s kindness that leads us to repentance and grace through Jesus.
Jude may be short, but it’s loaded with truth that strengthens faith and calls us to live with mercy and perseverance.
