God has a plan for your life.

Although it might not always feel like it; although you might not always see it happening, God is intimately involved in your life each and every day. Why? Because He has a greater purpose, and you are part of His plan. He wants to bring meaning and value to your life for His glory and the Gospel.

Moreover, I am certain that there is someone who you are leading or influencing, in some capacity. Maybe it’s an employee or coworker, a child or grandchild, a friend or neighbour. They are watching you, learning from you, and following your lead. This too is part of God’s purpose and plan for your life.

YouVersion and Northern Roads

Helping people understand the purpose and plans of God behind day-to-day life and leadership, is a major thrust of my book, Northern Roads. As I tell my story, each chapter carries a Biblical principle pointing to God’s continued work, bringing extraordinary experiences into the lives of ordinary people just like you. That we’re all being brought into a greater story and He’s the author.

After releasing the book, the publisher asked if I would offer a few of the biblical principles and coinciding applications, and place them into a small Bible plan for the YouVersion Bible app. This would give an opportunity to help more people in their journey of life and leadership while giving them a taste of what the book (and all the Biblical principles and applications) might offer them in the future.

Consider what God can do in 5 days.

Consider what God can do in your life and leadership this week. Consider what might happen if you give Him 15-20 minutes each morning or evening, to read through targeted leadership Scriptures, then process and pray through the plan He is working in you right now.

Maybe you’re already working through a Bible reading plan, and that is awesome! I would never want to interrupt a devotional rhythm that you’ve already committed to.
